Organizers of the 2025 edition of the Southwest Car Wash Association Convention & EXPO included a record EXPO area and diverse group of attendees.
The SCWA said those in attendance at the event last week in Fort Worth, Texas, came from 46 different states and several foreign countries, including Mexico, Canada, Finland, the Netherlands, the Virgin Islands and Germany.
“I am always amazed to see the excitement and enthusiasm of all the attendees and exhibitors,” SWCA President Jeff Blansit said in a statement. “As I visited with attendees and exhibitors on the floor I heard comments like, ‘Only one word – fabulous’; or ‘SCWA never disappoints’; ‘SCWA is my favorite’; or ‘This has been a fantastic experience.’
“SCWA is honored to be able to bring the greater car wash community together to start the year with such great anticipation”.
The convention was highlighted by two nationally recognized speakers.
Michael Dominguez, CEO of ALHI kicked off the popular CEO Forum on Wednesday by providing insights on the new dynamics in the service industries and what he expected to see develop in the next several years.
On Thursday, attendees enjoyed the inspirational message from Convention keynote Brian Kilmeade of Fox News. Kilmeade offered his perspective on the current small business marketplace environment and what business owners can expect in the next five years.
The 2025 SCWA event included a record EXPO area with more than 450 booths and over 100,000 square feet of exhibits; the popular EXPO Quick Talks Stage; and premier education sessions including the Car Wash Academy.
The next convention, titled “EXPERIENCE SCWA 2026” is set for Feb. 25-27, 2026, at the Fort Worth Convention Center.
