Mint Eco Car Wash on Thursday officially named Duncan Davis as the new CEO of the West Palm Beach, Florida-based company.

Duncan mostly recently served as the company’s COO. His move was first reported by Car Wash Daily News on Wednesday.

Davis’ ascension comes as co-founder and former CEO Geoffrey Jervis is set to become the new director of the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Manufacturing and Energy Supply Chains.

In a press release, Mint Eco said only that Jervis was stepping down to “pursue other opportunities.” Jervis will remain on the board of directors and an investor in the company.

“Duncan has been the driving force behind Mint Eco’s extraordinary operations for the last two years, and we are delighted to elevate him to the role of CEO,” Jervis said in a statement.

“Duncan has decades of experience in running brands in the restaurant business, and his skills and experience are ideal for leading Mint Eco forward.”

In his prior role as COO, Davis was responsible for all elements of operations, including site operations, facilities, and staffing, managing over 150 employees. He has also been a member of the three-person senior management team at Mint Eco responsible for overseeing the performance of the entire company.

“Geoff founded Mint Eco Car Wash in 2019 and built the company into what it is today. After six years of building our brand, assets, and team, Geoff has asked to step back from day-to-day operations to pursue other opportunities. Because of his tenure as CEO, Mint Eco is capable of this change,” said Russell Ball, Chairman of the Board of Directors.

“We are delighted to have Duncan Davis as our new CEO. Our accolades from Best Car Wash in Palm Beach County to Best Places to Work in Florida are due in large part to his extraordinary achievements while COO.

“Moving forward, Duncan brings the experience and energy necessary to lead Mint Eco into the future.”
