Swift Car Wash, one of Canada’s fastest-growing express car wash operators, recently acquired the Smitty’s Car Wash location in Cambridge, providing the operator its first entry into the Ontario market.
The newly acquired location at 408 Hespeler Rd., Cambridge, marks a significant step toward the express wash’s broader provincial growth across Eastern Canada.
As part of the transition, Swift Car Wash plans to significantly invest in the site, with upgrades aimed at enhancing wash quality and improving the customer experience.
“Introducing express car washes in Ontario has long been part of our vision, and the acquisition of a high-performing, community-trusted car wash site is the perfect way to launch our presence in this key market,” Raja Singh, co-founder of Swift Car Wash, said in a statement.
Swift will transition all current customers into its unlimited wash membership program, which gives members access to all Swift locations across Canada.
Founded in 2024 and headquartered in Toronto, Swift Car Wash has quickly gained attention for its focus on customer service, state-of-the-art technology, and commitment to eco-friendly practices.
In the coming weeks, Swift will upgrade the Cambridge site with modern design and eco-friendly features. The site will also get high-efficiency wash technology that aligns with Swift’s brand standards.
Cambridge residents can expect a grand re-opening celebration this summer.
