WhiteWater Express Car Wash recently announced the addition of Michael Arnett to its executive team as new chief financial officer (CFO).

Arnett followed Henry Shine, who is transitioning to a new role of chief strategy officer in the organization.

Arnett brings over 15 years of CFO experience to WhiteWater Express. His past roles include leadership at Academy Sports + Outdoors and Brookshire Grocery Co.

“I am excited to join the WhiteWater team at such a fantastic time for the company,” Arnett said in a statement. “The WhiteWater culture and team-focused approach is extraordinary, and I look forward to working with the leadership team to drive continued growth and financial results.”

Arnett will guide the company’s financial strategy as it grows across existing and new markets and will help strengthen WhiteWater’s financial foundation.

“We are thrilled to welcome Michael as our CFO and learn not only from his financial experience but his approach to company and team growth. Michael aligns fully with WhiteWater’s culture and our belief in what a great company should be,” said Steve Mathis, co-founder and CEO of WhiteWater Express.

Shine will continue leading de novo and acquisition growth as head of development and will also direct strategy across key corporate functions to advance long-term growth. The new position will allow Shine to focus on WhiteWater’s strategic direction.

Whitewater, based in Texas, was formed in 2015 and has about 120 locations across six states – Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Kentucky, Ohio and Michigan.
