Moo Moo Express Car Wash, an Express Wash Concepts brand with three dozen sites across Central Ohio, recently gained some notable local recognition.
EWC announced that Moo Moo Express Car Wash had earned the title of Best Columbus (Ohio) Employer (under 500 employees) in the 2025 (614) Magazine edition of its “ColumBEST Awards” program.
ColumBEST allows (614) Magazine readers to vote on numerous categories, including best pizza, burger, wings, best overall restaurant, best local band, radio station, best family attraction and best car wash, among others.
Almost 500,000 votes were cast this year by readers of the magazine, which is published monthly and showcases the people, places and things that make Columbus an attractive place to live.
“We’re honored to be named the Best Columbus Employer in the 2025 ColumBEST Awards,” John Roush, Founder of Moo Moo Express Car Wash and CEO of Express Wash Concepts, said in a statement. “As a homegrown and locally operated company, this recognition means the world to us.

More than 70 percent of EWC’s field leadership began their careers as entry-level team members, which reflects EWC’s vision to provide great service to customers and build meaningful, long-term careers for its employees.
EWC currently operates 114 express car washes across six states and five brands, Moo Moo Express Car Wash. More than 25 new sites are set to break ground or open by the end of 2025, including two more in Columbus (Sawmill Road and East 5th Avenue).
