Following a successful inaugural effort last year, WhiteWater Express Car Wash will launch a second “Washes for Wishes” campaign next month – but this time, it doesn’t want to go alone.

The initiative is designed to bring together car washes across the country to raise donations for children in need through a partnership with Make-A-Wish.

WhiteWater Express launched the first “Washes for Wishes” campaign in July 2024. For one month, it donated $1 for every unlimited membership plan sold. The campaign raised over $50,000 for six Make-A-Wish chapters.

From June 20 through Aug. 3, WhiteWater Express will once again conduct its “Washes for Wishes” campaign and it is inviting all car wash operators to join in.

The program offers businesses a chance to give back and connect with communities. It also enhances brand loyalty, employee engagement and customer experience.

“We believe in creating a culture of giving as we grow, and our partnership with Make-A-Wish helps us live out that mission every day,” Clayton Clark, president and chief operating officer of WhiteWater Express, said in a statement.

“We’re calling on car wash operators everywhere to join us in bringing more wishes to life for the kids who need them most.”

Since 1980, Make-A-Wish has granted over 550,000 wishes worldwide, including over 15,600 in the U.S. in 2024 alone. The donations help create unforgettable experiences for children and families in challenging times.

“We are thankful for the amazing support of our national and regional partners, whose contributions make life-changing wishes possible for children and families,” Flo Bryan, chief corporate alliances officer at Make-A-Wish America, said in a statement.

“These contributions allow us to broaden our reach and create turning points in the lives of families dealing with critical illnesses.”

Since 2016, WhiteWater Express has grown to over 125 locations across six states.

In addition to its Make-A-Wish fundraising, the company has contributed $100,000 to the Susan G. Komen Foundation for breast cancer research and awareness. Its individual sites also engage with local communities through fundraising events, spirit days and donation programs.
