Soapy Joe’s Car Wash wins trio of “Stevie” honors during 23rd American Business Awards

Soapy Joe’s Car Wash in Santee, California – a suburb of San Diego, recently won three different “Stewie Awards” – one of the world’s premier business awards programs during the 23rd American Business Awards.

The American Business Awards are open to all organizations operating in the United States and feature a wide variety of categories to recognize achievement in every facet of the workplace.

The “Stewie Awards” were created in 2002 to honor and generate public recognition of the achievements and positive contributions of organizations and working professionals worldwide.

There are now nine “Stevie Awards” programs, each with its own focus, list of categories, and schedule.  Together they receive more than 12,000 nominations each year.  

During the recognition ceremony held June 10 in New York City, Soapy Joe’s Car Wash won Stewie Awards” three different categories.

The car wash operator took home a “Bronze Stewie” in brand activation for its “Soapy Joe’s Day” promotion; it won a “Silver Stewie” in brand and experiences, CSR event for its digital fundraisers; and it collected a “Gold Stewie” in brand and experiences for its sponsorship experiences involving the San Diego Padres and San Diego County Fair.

Stevie Awards are conferred in nine programs: the Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards, the German Stevie Awards, the Middle East & North Africa Stevie Awards, The American Business Awards, The International Business Awards, the Stevie Awards for Great Employers, the Stevie Awards for Women in Business, the Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service, and the Stevie Awards for Technology Excellence.
