NASCAR is coming to the state of Delaware this weekend and Greenhill Car Wash will host a show car from one of the sport’s iconic Cup Series teams.
On Friday, the No. 21 Motorcraft/Quick Lane Ford Mustang will be on display at Greenhill Car Wash’s location at 890 Middletown Warwick Rd. in Middletown, Delaware.
Dover (Del.) Motor Speedway – a 1-mile, high banked concrete oval – is hosting NASCAR Xfinity and Cup series races on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. The track has hosted Cup series races since 1969.
The No. 21 Ford is fielded in the Cup Series by Wood Brothers Racing, which is the sport’s longest-running team. Founded in 1950 by Hall of Famer Glenn Wood in Stuart, Va., the team has earned 101 wins in the Cup Series over nearly eight decades of operation.
“Bringing the No. 21 car to our Middletown location is an exciting opportunity for fans and families to connect with the sport,” David Shepherd, owner of Greenhill Car Wash, said in a statement.
“We’re proud to blend our passion for cars with an unforgettable community experience.”
A team representative will be present to answer questions and distribute official Wood Brothers Racing hero cards.
Josh Berry is in his first season driving the No. 21 Ford Mustang for the Wood Brothers and qualified for the 2025 playoffs by winning earlier this year at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
The victory marked the 101st career win for the organization, which is celebrating its 75th anniversary in 2025.
Most recently, Berry is coming off a 13th-place finish last Sunday at Sonoma (Calif.) Raceway, which is his career best finish on a road course. His previous best was 22nd last fall on the Charlotte Roval.
The NASCAR car display on Friday is part of Greenhill’s larger community celebration planned for all six of its Delaware locations.
The company opened its newest site in Georgetown in 2024. Greenhill Car Wash has served Delaware since 2009.
