Thomaston, Georgia-based Tidal Wave Auto Spa announces its 17th annual Tidal Wave carwash fundraiser ‘Charity Day’ event will take place on Friday, Sept. 19.
The company commits to donating 100 percent of proceeds during this one-day philanthropic event to charities and non-profit organizations.
Over 16 years, Tidal Wave Auto Spa has donated more than $2 million to charitable organizations. Last year’s event raised $686,353.
The 2025 Tidal Wave carwash fundraiser will include 295 participating locations across the company’s 30-state footprint, making it the largest yet.
“Since its inception, Charity Day has represented a core value of our organization – supporting the communities that support us,” said founder and CEO Scott Blackstock.
“It is deeply fulfilling to see the positive impact we can make within these local organizations, and our team members look forward to participating in this tradition year after year.”
Before Sept. 19, each Tidal Wave location selects a local charity or non-profit partner. Each partner receives 50 percent of the proceeds, plus cash donations from the one-day event.
Local organizations will attend Charity Day to share their mission and engage directly with the community. Tidal Wave awards the remaining 50 percent of proceeds to Annandale Village, its longtime corporate partner. Annandale provides progressive life assistance to adults with developmental disabilities.
Tidal Wave Auto Spa makes a positive difference in the communities it serves and earned recognition as a ‘Champion of Charity’ by Professional Carwashing & Detailing magazine.
Beyond its annual fundraiser, the company supports communities year-round through its fundraising program. This program has raised over $5 million for schools, organizations, churches, civic groups and more.
