Staff Report

Autobell Car Wash is inviting its customers to join in a campaign to bring hope to critically ill children through a special campaign with the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Through June 29, the company will donate $1 from every sale of its ‘Rain Repellent Special’ wash during that time to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

The fundraiser will take place at all Autobell locations in North and South Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, and Delaware. Customers may also use the Autobell App to purchase a Rain Repellent Special wash in support of Make-A-Wish.

“When these children experience a wish come true, it sparks hope and inspires strength to fight and even overcome their illness,” said Autobell President and COO Carl Howard.

“We are driven to help power that resolve and add joy to their lives.”

Each year, Make-A-Wish donors, partners, and volunteers help bring more than 15,000 wishes to life for children with critical illnesses. These life-changing experiences aim to replace fear with confidence, sadness with joy, and anxiety with hope for these young people and their families.

Founded in 1969 by Charles Howard Sr., Charlotte, North Carolina-based Autobell Car Wash currently operates 91 sites across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic areas.

All Autobell washes treat 100 percent of wash water used and recycle up to 100% using innovative, environmentally friendly systems.
