Cheetah Clean Auto Wash continues its accelerated growth plan with the acquisition of a pair of ZIPS Car Wash sites in Kentucky.
The newly acquired ZIPS sites are located at 453 Campbell Ln. in Bowling Green and 2915
Wimsatt Ct. in Owensboro.
Cheetah Clean, headquartered in Bowling Green, now has 16 sites in Kentucky and Nashville, Tennessee.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The former ZIPS will undergo complete rebranding and receive equipment upgrades before re-opening later this summer.
“These acquisitions represent a pivotal moment in our expansion strategy to become the dominant car wash brand within the Commonwealth of Kentucky,” Jeff Fields, CEO of Cheetah Clean Auto Wash, said in a statement.
“We are systematically adding locations where we can deliver our proven combination of
cutting-edge eco-technology, premium service standards, and deep community values to even more drivers throughout the region.”
Most recently, Cheetah Clean acquired a former Wash Me Express Car Wash site in Nashville, its third location in the city.
The renovated ZIPS locations will feature Cheetah Clean’s signature Unlimited Wash Club as well as the company’s eco-conscious wash technology.
The grand opening dates for the new sites will be announced in the coming months.
With its latest expansion, Cheetah Clean builds on its reputation as the region’s
fastest-growing premium car wash brand.
Opening dates for Cheetah Clean’s Gallatin, Tennessee, and downtown Nashville locations will also be announced soon.
Last month, ZIPS Car Wash announced it had successfully emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy and had appointed a new chief executive officer to lead the restructured operation.
ZIPS, one of the country’s largest privately held car wash operators, voluntarily filed for Chapter 11 protection in early February in hopes of greatly reducing its debt obligations. The company also operates brands Rocket Express Car Wash and Jet Brite Car Wash.
