Triumph Car Wash Parts has followed through on its commitment to help its customers traverse the volatile U.S.-Canada tariff situation with the opening of its first distribution center in the United States.
In January, around the time of the inauguration of U.S. president Donald Trump, the company based in Oakville, Ontario, Canada, said it was preparing for the possibility of Trump’s tariff increases and their potential effect on the cost of imported car wash parts and materials.
In response to the recent tariff policy changes announced by Trump, Triumph has opened a new distribution facility in Niagara Falls, New York, which it believes will allow the company to streamline operations, reduce shipping times, and minimize costs typically associated with international import fees.
It’s also expected to position the company to be more agile and responsive in supporting car wash operators across the U.S. with high-quality parts delivered fast and at competitive prices.
“Our customers are the heart of what we do,” said company co-owner Tim Justice. “With these new tariffs, we knew they’d be facing higher prices, and we couldn’t stand by and let that happen without stepping in.”
The Niagara Falls facility is now fully operational, and the Triumph team is already processing and shipping orders directly from the new location.
“This isn’t just about adapting to government policy,” said company co-owner Vince MacNeil. “It’s about showing our customers that we’re in their corner.
“We built this facility on U.S. soil because we believe in the future of the American car wash industry, and we’re here to support that future every step of the way.”
To celebrate the opening of the new Niagara Falls location, Triumph has launched a series of promotions to help customers save even more during this period of uncertainty.
These promotions include deep discounts on X458 and Log Chain, some of the most essential and frequently replaced components in a conveyor car wash. The promotion is available for a limited time and is open to both new and existing customers.
As the industry adjusts to a new economic reality, Triumph’s owners said they remain dedicated to innovation, excellence and putting the needs of its customers first.
Triumph is a manufacturer of premium car wash component replacement parts for car wash equipment including chains, rollers, brushes, and gear motors.
Mexico and Canada are two of America’s top three trade partners. Last year, the U.S. imported $475 billion worth of goods from Mexico and $418 billion from Canada, collectively accounting for 30 percent of the value of all the goods the U.S. imported last year, according to federal trade data.
Meanwhile, the U.S. exported $354 billion worth of goods to Canada last year and $322 billion to Mexico, accounting for a third of the value of all goods the U.S. exported worldwide last year.
