For Links Car Wash and affiliate Madison Capital Group, the grand opening of its first North Carolina location was an important milestone.
Last July, Madison Capital, led by founder and CEO Ryan Hanks, announced the launch of its newest venture, Links Car Wash, which it planned to develop in “high growth” markets across the U.S.
Links’ initial operating location came in Tampa, Florida, and until now all their locations have opened in the Sunshine State. This week’s ribbon-cutting ceremony at its location in Charlotte, N.C., is the first in its home state.
Links and Madison are headquartered in the Queen City.
Links says it maintains its focus on strategically chosen locations, characterized by favorable demographics and minimal competition in hopes they outperform national performance averages.
“We are thrilled to open our first Links location in Charlotte and to showcase the significant improvements we’ve made to the site,” said Ryan Hanks, CEO of Links Car Wash.
“Our team is committed to delivering high-quality, efficient car wash services, and we look forward to bringing a top-tier experience to the local community.”
Links is hosting a free wash weekend on Saturday and Sunday offering customers complimentary Ultimate Washes (a $25 value).
“We are extremely excited about this location! We acquired the non-operating site from Take5 in 2024, rebranded and officially opened for business last week,” said Laura Geraci, Links’ marketing director.
Hanks said Links is focused on acquiring and revitalizing car wash locations with a modern approach. All Links locations feature advanced technology and offer amenities including complimentary vacuums, mat cleaners, towels, and window cleaners.
Combining over 50 years of industry expertise, Links is dedicated to innovation and sustainability. The brand emphasizes proactive maintenance with real-time monitoring of equipment and detergent levels, preventing downtime and ensuring peak efficiency, reliability and significant water usage reduction compared to traditional home car washing methods.
Earlier this month, Links announced it had acquired a prime development site in Cape Coral, Florida, to further expand its footprint in the Sunshine State.
In addition to Charlotte, Links has locations open now in Tampa (two), Orlando, Fort Myers, Leesburg, Palm Harbor, Tarpon Springs, Land O’Lakes and New Port Richey.
