ZIPS Car Wash is cleaning up and giving back from Sept. 11-14 at 215 of their car wash locations across the country during its “Patriot Weekend” initiative.
During that time, ZIPS will designate a portion of each car wash purchase to support the company’s goal of contributing $100,000 to Folds of Honor, thereby advancing educational opportunities for families of military personnel and first responders.
“We will never forget the sacrifice of so many Americans and their families as we remember the events from 9/11. We’re excited to honor heroes during our Patriot Weekend by giving back to Folds of Honor from every single car wash purchase that’s made Thursday through Sunday,” said Pete Nani, CEO of ZIPS Car Wash.
“We invite communities across the country to participate and take advantage of savings at all our ZIPS Car Wash, Rocket Express Car Wash, and Jet Brite Car Wash locations across the country.”
Folds of Honor is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization that provides educational scholarships to the spouses and children of U.S. military service members and first responders who have fallen or been disabled while serving our country and communities.
“We are so grateful to ZIPS Car Wash and its patriotic customers for supporting our deserving recipients,” said Lt Col Dan Rooney, founder and CEO of Folds of Honor. “In 2022, the families of fallen or disabled first responders were added to our mission.
“The outstanding team at ZIPS recognizes the selfless sacrifices first responders and their families make every day. ZIPS commitment to providing a life-changing education is making a real difference.”
Also this week, ZIPS Car Wash continues to debut more of its renovated sites, with four remodeled locations in the Asheville, North Carolina, area. They include: 360 Airport Rd. in Arden, 866 Patton Ave. and 125 Tunnel Rd., both in Asheville, and 1 Gill Rd. in Weaverville.
A ribbon cutting ceremony was scheduled for Sept. 10 at the Arden site alongside the Asheville Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors.
ZIPS Car Wash, headquartered in Plano, Texas, is a privately held car wash operator, with over 200 locations across 20 states under three brands: ZIPS Car Wash, Rocket Express Car Wash, and Jet Brite Car Wash.
