Phoenix, Arizona-based Raceway Car Wash has taken another step in its expansion into neighboring Texas.

This weekend, Raceway Car Wash will celebrate the grand opening of its newest acquired location in Plano, Texas, which was formerly known as Landshark Car Wash. Raceway obtained the site in August 2024.

The new site is the sixth in Texas for Raceway, with all located in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

“The rebranding of our Plano location is a pivotal moment in Raceway Car Wash’s expansion into Texas. This transformation not only signifies our commitment to delivering top-tier car care but also reflects our dedication to integrating seamlessly into the communities we serve,” Andrew Schell, Raceway’s chief operating officer and director of mergers & acquisitions, said in a statement provided to Car Wash Daily News.

“By aligning this site with our brand’s standards, we’re ensuring that our guests in Plano experience the consistent quality and service that Raceway is known for across the Southwest. This rebranding is more than a name change; it’s a promise to our guests of excellence, convenience, and value.”

To celebrate the rebranding and reopening of the Plano site, Raceway will offer free ‘Pit Stop’ washes Friday through Sunday and a special discounted rate of $5 on its ‘Full Throttle,’ ‘Winner’s Circle’ and ‘Grand Champion’ wash packages.

New members will be able to take advantage of first-time sign-up offers. All new and existing members will also receive a free welcome bag. In addition, the first 50 guests on Friday and Saturday will receive complimentary barbecue starting at 11:30 a.m.

The Plano site offers several amenities, including free microfiber towels, high-power vacuums and dog wash stations.

Raceway Car Wash was originally started by a private equity company, Clear Sky Capital, which began purchasing depressed assets during the 2008 housing crisis and eventually transitioned from multifamily assets to car washes.

Raceway now has 45 locations across four states – Arizona, California, Texas and Nevada. Raceway recently also announced the acquisition of the former Foothills Express Car Wash in Fontana, California.
