Sud Stop Car Wash is celebrating the grand opening of a new location in Kernersville with month-long specials, as it begins an expansion in both North and South Carolina.
The Sud Stop site at 1491 Glenn Center Dr. in Kernersville recently opened and will be the first of two new North Carolina locations.
Located near Interstate 40 and the Union Cross Road commercial corridor, the site is easily accessible for residents of Union Cross, Yorktown, Woodbridge, and commuters traveling between Winston-Salem and Greensboro.
Backed by investment from Real Capital Partners, Sud Stop has been acquiring multiple high-visibility high-traffic properties since 2023, opening its first location in Bradenton, Florida.
“Kernersville needed this new level of convenience, value, and sophistication in the car wash experience,” Rob Consalvo, CEO of Sud Stop, said in a statement.

Following the Kernersville launch, Sud Stop is expanding with new locations coming to North Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Smithfield, N.C. Earlier this year, the company opened a new site in Greenwood, S.C.
Sud Stop has plans for 33 locations over the next two years.
As art of the grand opening of the Kernersville location, Sud Stop is offering a special Founders Club membership through April 30: $9.98/month for the first three months on any of its top three wash plans.

Sud Stop’s state-of-the-art wash tunnel delivers a complete clean in under four minutes, with specialized cycles for bugs, tires, rain repellant, surface protection, and rapid drying. Members enjoy fast access through license plate recognition, allowing them to skip the line.
All guests have access to free self-service amenities, including vacuums, air fresheners, microfiber towels, interior cleaners, and mat washers.
