The RipTide Car Wash has launched a unique fundraiser to help in the continued recovery of those affected by Hurricane Helene.
The devastating storm in late September 2024 caused catastrophic rainfall-triggered flooding, particularly in western North Carolina, East Tennessee and southwestern Virginia.
RipTide, based in Raleigh, N.C., has pledged $10,000 to the ongoing recovery efforts (through All Hands and Hearts) and is gathering donations to match that.
Every $10 donation gets one entry to win, with unlimited donation entries per person. All donations go directly to support recovery efforts.
Running through April 30, this initiative provides participants with the chance to win some stunning prizes, including a unique custom 1965 Ford Mustang Pool Table, which is valued at over $25,000.
“We’re proud to support our communities and the incredible work being done in hurricane-affected communities,” RipTide Car Wash CEO Chris Gardner said in a statement.
“This campaign is about more than just winning prizes – it’s about coming together to help rebuild lives, and we’re thrilled to see the community get involved.”
The one-of-a-kind fully functional pool table features real chrome car parts, working lights, and real alloy rims and tires. It’s the only officially licensed ‘Collector’s Edition’ pool table for Ford Motor Company.
RipTide will cover costs to deliver and assemble the pool table to the winner within 200 miles of any RipTide location. The pool table is currently housed at one of the company’s locations in Franklin, Tenn.
In addition to the grand prize, RipTide has several other rewards available to win. Among them: 25 one-year Unlimited Wash Club memberships; 50 three-month Unlimited Wash Club memberships; branded merchandise; and other surprise giveaways.

RipTide currently has 16 locations through North Carolina, Virginia and Tennessee with additional sites coming soon.
