UIC and WashCard Systems have announced a strategic partnership to create a cashless payment solution for car wash owners.

In an industry retains a large percentage of legacy payment systems, the new collaboration will empower car wash owners to move beyond outdated cash-and-coin and MSR-only payment systems and adopt cashless solutions that are efficient and effortless.

WashCard Systems, a trusted name in helping car wash operators modernize their businesses, is providing the hardware and software necessary to transition from the “bag-full-of-quarters” operations to state-of-the-art, cashless technologies.

By integrating UIC’s payment solutions, UIC Connect, WashCard is further ensuring a seamless transition for car wash operators and by eliminating the complexity of embedding cashless payment options.

“Our goal has always been to simplify the lives of car wash operators by offering innovative payment technologies that meet modern consumer expectations,” said Tim Gustafson, Division Manager at WashCard Systems.

“By partnering with UIC, we’re able to offer an even more robust and streamlined solution, helping our customers leave behind the hassles of outdated payment systems.”

The UIC and WashCard partnership is designed to address two key challenges in the industry: the need for reliable cashless payment options and the burden of complex system integration.

UIC’s turnkey solutions streamlined the process for WashCard, allowing car wash operators to benefit from secure and reliable cashless payment systems with minimal effort.

The collaboration will help car wash owners meet this demand while boosting operational efficiency and reducing maintenance associated with coin-operated systems.

Both companies’ shared vision is to empower car wash businesses to thrive in a rapidly changing payment landscape.

UIC manufactures payment terminals and peripherals and has more than 30 years of experience in attended and unattended payment space.
